DTS DECOMPRESSION THERAPY

DTS provides an environment for the disc to heal better. Disc related pain can cause the restriction of the blood supply into your spine, so your body is only subject to the limited supply of hydration at night into the affected disc to bring in all the nutrients that it needs to heal the area. That is why our backs take a long time to recover.

By mimicking the natural actions of the disc using a decompression machine, we can create a negative pressure which speeds up the delivery of nutrients into the disc and it subsequently reduces the symptoms (pain) while accelerating the healing process around the area of concern.

CHIROPRACTIC & OSTEOPATHY

Chiropractic is a non-drug conservative approach. We focus on the alignment of your spine and the impact it has on your nervous system. By correcting your spinal alignment, you optimise the way your body functions because your spine is like a highway that connects all your bodily functions with signals from your brain through the nervous system. With Chiropractic care, you get to address the underlying cause of the pain rather than the symptomatic cause of the pain to give you the active lifestyle that you need to perform your daily activities.

Shockwave therapy

The shockwaves affect your bone and soft tissue. This approach is very good at treating problems that are caused by the tendon. Where the tendon attaches to the bone, that is the area that people commonly have pain. So in your knee, it might be around your kneecap where the patella tendon attaches. In your heel, it is where the plantar fascia connects. At the back of the foot, it is where the Achilles tendon attaches. Because of the stress that is coming from the muscle through the tendon and onto the bone, this is the area that we see a high amount of injuries among patients. By providing shockwave to the area of concern with a high powered sound wave, we can accelerate the healing process and reduce inflammation.
